CORPORATE TRACK

The corporate accounting track is a broad, flexible program of study that prepares students for careers in various positions in corporations, private companies, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations.  The courses are selected based on the student’s interests. Students must complete at least ten courses beyond a core of business prerequisite classes; seven required courses and three elective courses:

Acctg 620* Financial Reporting and Analysis II
Acctg 624* Tax for Managers
Acctg 625* Managerial and Financial Reporting and Analysis
Acctg 626* Audit/Systems
Acctg 663 Financial Statement Analysis
Acctg 681 Seminar in Management and Regulatory Controls
Acctg 790 Directed Readings in Accounting (register in last semester)
*Waived if student has credit for equivalent course.
